What a couple of nights under the Skagit sky! Keys for Kids 2019 is in the books and some tunes are still working their way out of our heads. Thank you everyone—our sponsors, our volunteer assistants, our guests, our catering & beverage support, our venue, our performers, all those who gave so generously, not to mention our Club Members who were the stars of the show—for an unbelievable event and truly humbling investment in our Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County. Because of all of you, the Clubs were able to raise over $100,000 in revenue to support the programs & opportunities youth find inside our Clubs’ Blue Doors. Thank you!

What is Keys for Kids? Inspired by a visit to New Orleans, and heavily incorporating our organizational value of FUN, Keys for Kids was a big hit when it came to fruition in 2015. Featuring two high-energy performers on piano keyboard taking requests, and giving others an opportunity to end a song and have theirs heard, the atmosphere was electric. With room to dance, people took to the floor to enjoy a serene evening in the gardens under a tent. The audience sang along to hits crossing many genres of music, and so many vowed to come back because of the unique and fun nature of the event, that a second night was added in 2016, and is now back for its fifth year—now at a new location, Stepping Stones Garden near Bow. Beginning with a social hour at 5:30pm, guests will enjoy light appetizers, wine from Thurston Wolfe Winery, beer from Boundary Bay Brewery, fellowship, and the opportunity to participate in games and activities hosted by our own Club kids. La Conner Seafood & Prime Rib House is set to provide a lovely seasonal buffet, with popular Ice Cream selections from Lopez Island Creamery. Whether it is through getting a song on the rotation, engaging in the games and raffle, or raising a paddle during Bids for Kids, the event connects philanthropy and fun in a big way.
Sponsorship Opportunities: Through sponsorships, the cost of the event is underwritten, providing each and every dollar raised to go straight to the youth positively affected each and every day by our professional, trained staff. Keys for Kids is a high-concept, expandable event, and provides sponsorship opportunities at all levels. Your consideration of investing in this manner makes a difference in the life of a child. See the available levels in the Event Sponsorships page.
