Registration Fee: $100/year
Activity Fee: $40/month
Tuition: $1,400/month (or monthly co-pay as determined by WCCC/DCYF)
Daily Rate (space available): $125/day
Discounts: 10% off for multiple children and eligible employees (single discount applies).
About Our Preschool
The AFC Campus Club Discovery Center Preschool is an exciting collaboration between the Anacortes Family Center, Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County, and Island Health. It serves children aged 3 years (fully potty-trained) to Kindergarten. This program builds on the Boys & Girls Club’s mission of creating a safe, fun, and positive environment for children to grow and thrive.
Children receive breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack daily. Families eligible for WCCC/DCYF Childcare Subsidies are welcome, with no limit on participation.
Our Program
We focus on building self-esteem, confidence, and personal achievement while fostering respect for others. Through group and individual activities, we inspire a love of learning and prepare children for future success as productive, caring members of their community.
We use the Creative Curriculum by Teaching Strategies , a nationally recognized framework, to tailor learning experiences to each child’s needs. Classrooms integrate Music, Arts, STEM, and creative discovery to promote curiosity and growth.
Our secure, modern facility features large, naturally lit classrooms. While outdoor space is limited, regular park visits, field trips, and activities at the Anacortes Boys & Girls Club gym ensure plenty of physical activity. Regular transportation will be provided by Thomas Minotour vehicles meeting Multi-Function School Activity Bus standards and include integrated child seats for additional layers of safety.
